The Game Changing STACT app and the APB World Tour Partner Up In 2018
1/22/2018 - The APB Tour and STACT have been working together to bring the most immersive competition experience to the bodyboarding community. Starting in 2018, Stact will feature the entire APB Tour contests with live results and stats for fans to follow. Following contests, athletes and knowing tour rankings, is all in the palm of your hand and is updated in real-time. Not only is Stact making contest results more accessible for fans, but athletes will have detailed stats and data that allows them to better understand their performance. Stact App is available for free on iOS and Android.

Scoring System - Stact is made up of two parts - the fan app and the Stact scoring system for contest organizers. Stact scoring provides scoring for judges, head judge, display for beach announcers, and a digital priority system to simplify the entire process. Stact scoring updates the fan app in real-time giving users access to in-depth heat stats and results instantly. Stact also provides an instant replay system for judges to review waves right after it's ridden. The video clips will eventually be linked to the scores in the app for athletes, coaches, and fans to watch. The APB has played a major role in helping Stact test their scoring features and optimize the system to where it is today.

Bodyboarding Archives - In addition to live results, Stact provides a look into the past with archived events and results. Because of the incredible contribution from Craig Hadden and the APB, archives from 2015, 2016, and, 2017 are currently available and events dating back to 2000 will arrive in later updates. Users will be able to compare results and see rankings from the past 18 years of the APB Tour. Access to this type of information has been difficult to find, but now Stact is making it easy to research past events and world champions.

Stact Vision - Their vision is to recognize and work with all aspects of competitive action sports, not just the major organizations such as APB Tour. Stact wants all athletes and fans of action sports to have a single destination, creating one great community. They are currently working with APB Tour, Australian Bodyboard Association, Federación Chilena de Bodyboard, Confederação Brasileira de Bodyboarding, and Japan Professional Bodyboarding Association.

From the team that created YouRiding, comes their next project STACT App. The STACT platform is made up of two applications (STACT App & STACT Event Manager) that deliver a fully integrated experience to organizers, athletes, and fans.
STACT App is a mobile app that allows users to find, follow, and watch action sports competitions while giving athletes a home-base for their careers.
